Portland could receive 1-3" of snow this weekend. Thousands will die, the roads will be littered with abandoned vehicles, and the city will resemble a post apocalyptic hellscape. FEMA is gearing up in anticipation of this epic disaster.

But joking aside, I have to work this weekend. I really really hope it snows hard on Friday and I get a free weekend.

Also, holy shit mobile editor is BAD now.

On the mobile editor, I can’t zoom in or out, so the editor is actually too big for my screen.

My local forecast is for 7-11" today, 4-6" tonight and another 3-5" tomorrow. I intend to take most of tomorrow off and go skiing.

Is that not normal? I've been dealing with an oversized mobile editor for over a year. I can't crop photos in kinja because the picture takes up the entire screen and there's no way to scroll to the edges...

I am very excited. Unfortunately the European model that was predicting 9” total accumulation through Tuesday is now starting to agree with the NWS’s predictions of 1-3”. Still, should be enough to make things pretty and have some fun in.

Only thousands? Probably tens of thousands will die. This will be worse than all predictions for the eventual cascadia subduction zone quake!
